Yongzhen Private Kitchen has officially launched NewPay payment services, allowing diners in the Aide Plaza commercial area of Vientiane to pay conveniently without carrying cash. Consumers can now complete payments simply by scanning the NewPay QR code using WeChat.

Located on the second floor of Mekong Vientiane Boutique Hotel near the popular Chinese community hub, Aide Plaza, Yongzhen Private Kitchen specializes in Jiangsu-Zhejiang cuisine, Cantonese cuisine, and Sichuan-Hunan cuisine. The restaurant also incorporates international culinary trends and local Laotian flavors, offering a unique dining experience that has become a favorite among Chinese consumers in Vientiane.

Previously, many merchants around Aide Plaza had not offered RMB payment, requiring customers to carry cash or use local bank apps to complete transactions. By integrating NewPay’s RMB payment function, Yongzhen Private Kitchen has resolved the “payment bottleneck” in Aide Plaza. Chinese diners can now scan the NewPay QR code, pay directly in RMB at favorable exchange rates, and have the backend automatically settle in USD or LAK according to the merchant agreement. This not only simplifies payment for consumers but also attracts more potential customers for the restaurant.
