NewPay and Laos eVisa Reach Strategic Cooperation

NewPay has reached a strategic partnership with Laos eVisa. Travelers from various countries can apply for Laos eVisa in advance through NewPay and the "Lao NewPay" official account. Visa-related fees can be paid using NewPay's exclusive WeChat payment channel. NewPay provides a convenient and efficient payment method for Chinese tourists traveling to Laos.

The electronic visa service (eVisa) was officially launched on July 9, 2019, by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Laos and its partners at Wattay International Airport. The eVisa is only available at the following international ports of entry:

1. Wattay Airport (Vientiane)
2. Friendship Bridge No. 1 International Port of Entry (Vientiane)
3. Luang Prabang International Airport (Luang Prabang Province)
4. Friendship Bridge No. 2 International Port of Entry (Savannakhet Province)
5. Pakse International Airport (Champasak Province)
6. Friendship Bridge No. 4 International Port of Entry (Bokeo Province)
7. Moeideng Port (Luang Namtha)
8. Moeideng Station (Luang Namtha)

The eVisa established by the Laotian government is open to all foreign tourists traveling to Laos. Applicants can apply for a single visa in three simple steps:

Step 1: Fill out detailed information and upload necessary documents.
Step 2: Double-check all the information you have filled out and pay the fees online.
Step 3: Download the eVisa approval letter via email.

Upon arrival in Laos with the eVisa approval letter, please follow these procedures:

Proceed to the electronic visa special channel opened by the immigration office at the port of entry.
Submit your passport and eVisa approval letter to the immigration office staff.
The immigration office staff will affix the eVisa to your passport, allowing you to enter Laos.
